Golfing on the NSW Far North Coast

Ocean Shores Country Club

Ocean Shores is thought to be one of the most spectacular golf courses in Australia. It’s also less than 10 minutes from Brunswick Heads, home to our Ferry Reserve, Massy Greene and Terrace Reserve Parks. This 18-hole championship course offers lush fairways, pristine greens and a mountain range backdrop. There are also ocean views from the clubhouse and bistro; keep an eye out for passing whales and the famous Cape Byron Lighthouse. It’s all so gorgeous it may just put you off your game.

Byron Bay Golf Club

A quick 7-minute drive from Byron Bay Holiday Park is the Byron Bay Golf Club, the most easterly golf course in Australia. Tee off under the watchful eye of the Cape Byron Lighthouse, then make your way around the 120 acres of beautiful coastal grounds. This challenging 18-hole championship course boasts ocean views from several holes. There’s also a welcoming clubhouse on top of the 9th green. Definitely worth a visit.

NSW Coffs Coast golf courses

Bonville Golf Resort

Most golfers have heard about Bonville Golf Resort, and with good reason. It’s considered to be the most beautiful golf course in Australia, if not the world. This par 72 course wins plenty of awards, and it’s easy to see why. The layout is perfect. Each fairway is so isolated from the next, it feels like you’re the only one on the course. Its 18 holes also challenge players of all levels. This oasis is a 15-minute drive from our Coffs Harbour and Mylestom Holiday Parks. A rite-of-passage for all keen golfers.

Coffs Harbour Golf Club

What? ANOTHER stunning NSW golf course? Afraid so. The Coffs Harbour Golf Club is a 27-hole championship course nestled between the mountains and the sea. A 10-minute drive from Coffs Harbour Holiday Park, its well-maintained fairways and greens are a joy to explore. As is the clubhouse, where the food is good, the beers are cold and the views sublime.

Hawks Nest Golf Club

Love golf so much you’d sleep on the course if you could? This might be the option for you. Our Hawks Nest Holiday Park is next door to the Hawks Nest Golf Club, a championship-rated 18-hole golf course. Calderwood Valley Golf Course

This extraordinary cliff-top course is a must-play for all golfers visiting the NSW South Coast. A 30-minute drive from our Reflections Bermagui, it’s perfect for all levels. Keep an eye out for ‘Hogan’s Hole’; named after the actor Paul Hogan who shot a Winfield cigarette commercial on location. It’s considered one of the most spectacular holes in golf that all players should do at least once; you actually hit OVER the ocean to a cliff-top green. Superb!
