Accessible Holidays in New South Wales
Discovering accessible ways to holiday in New South Wales
Let's chat about something awesome: accessible holidays. You know, those trips where everyone, regardless of their mobility needs, can have a blast exploring new places. And guess what? New South Wales got some fantastically accessible holiday options that are all about making sure everyone can kick back and enjoy their vacay to the fullest.
Accessible tourism is all about making sure everyone gets to join in on the fun. Whether you're exploring the countryside or chilling by the beach, accessible holidays are there to make sure every traveler has a comfy place to stay.
Accessible cabin features
Everyone deserves a break and our range of standard, premium and deluxe accessible cabins equipped with features addressing mobility issues do not disappoint.
Our guests enjoy:
- wheelchair ramps,
- assistance handrails,
- wider doorways, and
- spacious, open-plan rooms.
Your safety and comfort is our priority with large bathrooms with handrails and large showers to enjoy a relaxing shower after a day in the sun. Some cabins provide specially-designed all-access kitchens making meal prepeasy for those great holiday meals.
We have partnered with Accessible Accommodation (The Accessible Group) to grade 30 of our accessible or easy access cabins, found in 20 of our parks, and we hope to increase the number of these cabins across our portfolio of properties.
We go the extra mile
Of course, a holiday does not simply mean a cabin stay. Don’t get me wrong, our accommodation is amazing, but holidays with us are focussed on special outdoor experiences you can have in our coastal or country landscapes.
We have you covered:
- Do you love the beach and require a beach wheelchair? Ask us!
- Would an all-access pathway to the beach make life easier?
We are the only holiday park provider that looks after and invests in community reserves as well as holiday parks. Our purpose-built all-access path from the Torakina car park to Torakina Beach in Brunswick Heads is loved by park guests and community members alike. - Care for a relaxing dip in the pool? Our Jimmys Beach park on the NSW Mid North Coast has a brand-new saltwater pool with a wheelchair ramp and handrail. We also have a brand new premium easy-access cabin located right in front of the pool waiting for you!
