What is glamping?

Glamping refers to a style of camping where the tent and bed setup are already done for you, and you simply arrive. In most cases there is an actual bed, linen and creature comforts like fridges, air-con, ensuite bathrooms and much more. This means you don't need to bring or setup tents, beds and sleeping bags and you can simply arrive and relax.

What do I need to bring for a glamping holiday?

Most glamping locations already provide the tent, beds and bedding. Some glamping providers also offer living rooms, fridges, dining furniture and air-conditioning or fans. Its always a good idea to check what is included in your glamping experience, but yourself, clothes, mozzie spray and sunscreen are always good bets. Depending on how far you are from shops, food and drink are a good idea and if your glamping tent doesn't offer a fridge, then bring an esky for the win!

Do glamping tents have bathrooms?

Some slightly higher-end glamping tents will have an ensuite bathroom, fully kitted out for your comfort. Others may not have an internal bathroom but be located near communal amenities that you can use.

Do glamping tents have electricity/power?

Some remote glamping tents may be completely off-grid and either has solar power or have no electricity at all - for that true back-to-nature experience. Other glamping tents have full power and often appliances like air conditioning, fans, and fridges to keep you comfortable.

Is glamping suitable for children?

Yes!! Glamping is just like camping, but without needing to bring the tent, beds and bedding, so definitely suitable for children. While some glamping tents are for 2 people only, other's are kitted out for 4, with a bunk bed for the kids. Check out our glamping options at:
