Lost Wax Casting – Level 1
Discover the ancient art of lost wax casting in this hands-on beginner workshop led by artist and jeweller Kate Hunter. Over three creative evening sessions, participants will learn the foundations of sculpting with jeweller's wax — an age-old technique used by jewellers, sculptors, and artists to transform ideas into wearable and sculptural forms. Working with a range of professional wax-working tools and materials, you'll explore carving, shaping, texturing, and designing your own original piece ready for casting in silver, gold, or bronze.
