What should I bring for my stay?

Preparing for a holiday can be a massive journey in itself. At Reflections Hawks Nest Holiday and Caravan Park, our aim is to ensure guests are as well-equipped as possible before hitting the open road.

If you’re planning a stay in one of our cabins or beach tents, we have many of the essentials covered, with linen, towels and kitchenware all provided. All you’ll need is some delicious treats, comfy clothes, good company and a thirst for adventure.

For guests pitching a tent on our campsites or setting up shop in your caravans or camper trailers, Reflections Hawks Nest Reflections has a well-equipped camp kitchen. We also recommend packing a torch and spare batteries, your trusty first aid kit, plenty of insect repellent, sunscreen and hats to keep you sun-safe, and rubbish bags to keep the park tidy for the next guests on your site.

Camping? Don’t forget to have a read of our tent peg tips, too!

Is there a camp kitchen at Hawks Nest Holiday Park and what’s in it?

Located near the park entrance, the Hawks Nest Caravan Park camp kitchen, with its great community atmosphere, provides an undercover area for you to cook, relax and meet other guests. Although you will need to bring your own essentials, the camp kitchen has all the basics with a fridge/freezer, stand-alone stove, sandwich press, microwave and toaster.

There is also a second undercover BBQ area in the centre of the park with BBQs and a sink. There are plenty of picnic tables to sit, soak up the scenery and enjoy the natural environment.

Can I bring my own BBQ or fire pit to Hawks Nest Holiday and Caravan Park?

Although you can bring your own charcoal or gas BBQ (no wood burning), we do NOT allow campfires at our park in Hawks Nest, NSW. The communal BBQs around the park are a great place to relax with family and friends after an adventure filled day.

How far away is the beach from Hawks Nest Holiday and Caravan Park?

Bennetts Beach is just a hop, skip and a jump away. Although you can’t see it, you can definitely hear the roar of the surf. Bennetts Beach is the main beach in Hawks Nest and is a patrolled surf beach.

Bring the surfboards for an early morning paddle to get the day started! The dog is welcome, too, just north of the golf course.

What other activities are there at Reflections Hawks Nest?

If the kids aren’t yet exhausted from discovering the natural environment and beach, there is playground just outside the park entrance. Feel free to bring your own push bikes and if they still have some energy left, let them have ago on one of our peddle cars (available for hire from reception).

The golf course is also accessible from the park. Bring the golf clubs for a great walk in the sunshine. Reflections Hawks Nest is a short stroll to local shops, cafes and a bar.
