A bush camping tip or two

Prepare some yummy stews, soups and hearty foods prior to arriving; they will keep you fuelled with warmth and energised for your camping adventure.

  • Don’t leave food and garbage unwrapped outside. It will attract the wildlife you are hoping to admire from afar.
  • When the ground is cold, use foam floor tiles on the tent floor to give an extra layer of insulation and comfort.
  • Invest in a good quality sleeping bag/ stretcher or mattress pad. Your back will thank you!
  • Rope and duct tape are like the allen key of camping, They will fix just about anything.
  • Glow sticks in water bottles make for a great game of night bowling or are handy in preventing a fall when placed around your tent’s guy ropes.

Extra large setup? No worries

Extra-large caravans and motorhomes are like travelling in a luxury apartment on wheels. They come with roomy living areas, full kitchens, multiple sleeping spaces, and even bathrooms, making them perfect for long trips or even living on the road full-time.

Finding the right campsite is super important for larger-size vehicles. Not all campgrounds or RV parks can handle the size of these big rigs. You need sites that are specifically set up for large vehicles, with enough space for parking, maneuvering, and extending slide-outs.

So, if you’ve got one of these massive motorhomes, we have you sorted for campsites that can accommodate the biggest rigs.
