Sensory Gardens

Located at Terilbah Reserve, The Entrance North, The Sensory Gardens are a joint project of Central Coast Council and Lions Club of The Entrance. The gardens are filled with native trees and plants, a viewing platform overlooking the beautiful Tuggerah Lakes, pathways, bridges, restful seats and all-weather shelters. The garden is constructed so that it is wheelchair friendly and suitable for all people and ages. A special feature of the garden, of course, is the sensory aspect. People with no sight are able to feel, touch and smell the many aromas and textures of the Australian bush.
