Whether you're here to fish, explore, or just unwind with the family, the park has all the little things that make a stay comfortable, without taking away from the natural charm of the place.
The large camp kitchen is a great spot to prepare your meals, with everything you need at your fingertips, including a fridge, oven, BBQs, microwaves, kettles, and plenty of space to spread out. The tables on the verandah offer a peaceful place to sit down and enjoy your food with a view. You’ll also find BBQs scattered throughout the park, so you can cook up a feed wherever suits you best.
There are two amenity blocks located within the park.
Wyangala Waters is a great spot for the whole family. There’s an on-site playground for the little ones to keep everyone entertained between swims, bushwalks and BBQs.
Travelling with your own van or camper? There’s a convenient dump point in the park to take care of the practical stuff, so you can get back to the fun bits without any fuss.
The kiosk opposite our reception has all your basics covered 7 days a week—snacks, drinks, ice creams and hot food from Wednesday-Sunday until 3.00PM, perfect for a post-fishing treat or a pick-me-up after a day out exploring.
Need to top up before your next drive or boating adventure? There’s a fuel station right in the park, so you’re never caught short. Our fuel station offers ULP 95 & Diesel
This place is a dream for keen anglers. Bring your gear and try your luck in Lake Wyangala—it’s well-known for great fishing. And when you land the big one, the fish cleaning station makes it easy to prep your catch for dinner.
The Wyangala Waters Community Hall is a flexible space perfect for group gatherings, celebrations, workshops and community events. The hall can host up to 150 guests and includes handy facilities like a projector and screen, breakout spaces, on-site amenities and plenty of parking. Outside, a covered verandah with picnic tables and heaters offers a relaxed spot to gather, all surrounded by the peaceful natural beauty of Wyangala Waters.

Check in for both powered and unpowered sites at Wyangala Waters Caravan Park is from 11am, whilst cabins allow check in from 3pm onwards.
If you plan to arrive after office hours (9am – 5pm) we will have all the relevant documents waiting for you in our Welcome Notice Board at the front of reception.
Checkout from both Sites and Cabins is 10am.
Preparing for a holiday can be a massive journey in itself. At Wyangala Waters Holiday Park, we aim to ensure guests are as well-equipped as possible before hitting the open road.
We want you to rest and relax, so bring a book and a pack of cards as our wi-fi is limited to reception and the Camp Kitchen. Phone reception at the park is limited to the Optus Network, with a public phone located beside the Camp Kitchen.
If you’re planning a stay in one of our cabins, we have many of the essentials covered, with linen, towels and kitchenware all provided. All you’ll need is some delicious treats, some comfy clothes, good company and a thirst for adventure.
For guests camping in your tent or setting up shop in your caravan, we have a well-equipped camp kitchen, laundry, playground and shop for essentials. We also recommend packing a torch and spare batteries, your trusty First Aid Kit, plenty of insect repellent, sunscreen and hats to keep you sun safe and rubbish bags to keep the park tidy for the next guests on your site.
If you fancy some lollies or maybe fish and chips make sure you visit the kiosk, which is open all week for lunch, with cooking limited to Wednesday-Sunday until 3pm. The closest shop to the park is in Cowra 42km away. There are no cash-out facilities available at Wyangala.
Our park water is sourced from the local Water Treatment Plant, but has yet to be certified, so we also ask that you bring your own drinking water or boil it before use.
Oh, and don’t forget the tent pegs too!!
Wyangala Waters Holiday Park is dog-friendly all year round on all campsites, though we have no dog-friendly roofed accommodation. Up to 2 dogs can be booked online, by phone, or in the park.

Visitors can enjoy fishing, water skiing, jet skiing, and swimming. Dogs are also welcome to swim in the dam. We also have a number of boat ramps for you to access the dam.

Yes, Wyangala Dam has a total storage capacity of approximately 1,218,000 megalitres, making it nearly twice the size of Sydney Harbour.
Absolutely! Wyangala Dam’s clear waters are perfect for swimming, especially during the warmer months. Swimming areas are accessible from the shores near the holiday park.
Absolutely! Fishing is a top activity at Wyangala Dam. Be sure to have an up-to-date fishing license, though (purchasable via Service NSW). Anglers can reel in a range of species, including Murray cod, golden perch (yellowbelly), trout (in season), silver perch, carp, catfish, and bream.
Wyangala Dam reaches a maximum depth of around 85 metres when full, offering abundant water for recreation and supply.
Electric Vehicle charging is only permitted at designated Electric Vehicle stations at Reflections Holidays. Reflections Wyangala Waters does not currently have an EV Charging Station. Please view the NSW Charging Map to find your nearest charging point.

Campers must bring their own fire pits as no fires are permitted directly on the ground. We have a communal fire pit by the Camp Kitchen for you to use.
You can purchase a bag of firewood directly from our office.
No chainsaws are permitted in the park.
