From the first moment it hatches, the life of a sea turtle is a constant struggle for survival. Join the NSW Turtle Watch team for their Hatchling Heroes Club.
Get a glimpse into the lives of our most ancient living fossils - our sea turtles. Through an interactive presentation, this program will introduce basic sea turtle biology, discuss nesting and hatching and highlight the dangers a hatchling must face to make it to the ocean and survive.
Following the presentation, interactive workstations and games will provide our new hatchling heroes with the opportunity to test their knowledge and see if they can navigate the treacherous world full of predators, pollution and human activity, that makes up the life of a sea turtle.
