What time is check in/check out Scotts Head Caravan Park?

Check in at camping sites at Scotts Head Caravan Park is from 11am.

If you plan to arrive after office hours (8am–6pm) please let us know so that we can have all relevant documents waiting for your arrival.

Checkout is 10am.

What should I bring for my stay at your caravan park?

Pitching a tent, or rocking up in caravans or camper trailers, rest assured we’ve got you covered—our campsites have a well-equipped camp kitchen. The only things we like to recommend packing are a torch, spare batteries, your trusty first aid kit, plenty of insect repellent, sunscreen and hats to keep you sun-safe, and rubbish bags to keep the park tidy for the next guests on your site.

What appliances are in the Reflections Scotts Head camp kitchen?

The camp kitchen contains everything you need to cook up a wholesome meal from BBQs, gas cook top, microwave, toaster, kettle, TV and lounges. Tables & chairs can be found in the camp kitchen free to use.

Is your park dog friendly?

Yes absolutely—you are welcome to bring your 2 furry friends with you when camping at Reflections Scotts Head Holiday Park, we even have a dog wash facility.

What activities are available near the park?

Kids & families are sorted at Reflections Scotts Heads with a playground located in the reserve right next to the park and stunning Main Beach, just a short stroll away, which is patrolled during school holidays. There are also Council owned tennis courts right near the park, so bring your rackets if you’re feeling up for a game, set, match!

There are plenty of walks along the beach and around the local headland areas, while Mount Yarrahapinni has a nature walk and picnic area that’sa must to enjoy.

For mountain biking, Mount Yarrahapinni (10 mins) or Nambucca Heads is 20 minutes away and there’s also a bike path suitable for families from Macksville to Nambucca Heads that’s worth checking out.

What are the nearest supermarkets, coffee, restaurants and bars?

Across the road from Scotts Head Holiday Park is a supermarket, cafés and bakery. Club Scotts (bowling club) is directly next door and local restaurants include Scotts Hub (across the road), and Scotts Head Seafood.

Are fires or firepits allowed at the park?

No individual fires are allowed but we do have a deliciously warm communal firepit to get toasty on cold winter evenings, which we don’t mind saying are perfect for meeting new friends while toasting marshmallows and enjoying evenings under the stars.

Are dogs allowed on Scotts Head Beach?

The beaches in Scotts Head are dog-friendly – check for times and leash requirements – and follow what the locals do.

Can you free camp on the beach at Scotts Head?

Unfortunately, no, but Reflections has some great and secure camping spots, plus convenient park amenities just waiting for you to enjoy.
