You can't beat the location, it is beautiful.
Very family friendly.
The town is a Hamlet, with only one shop, a Club/Bar with a Kurdish Restaurant attached (pricey).
7 km back to Corindi, you have a Pub and a chemist.

Can't really rate rooms as we stayed in swags.really good spot for a holiday beaches are beautiful and the corindi river is a good fishing spot. No pool is a bummer for little kids.hasnt changed much in 30 years. Except for Whoopi getting bigger with estates going up

First time visitors. Drove down 4 hours from Brisbane to meet friends.
We have a small motorhome as do our friends. Found the sites to be a great size, plenty of room to setup and not on top of your neighbours.
Lower amenities need upgrading but the middle ones were pretty good.
Easy access to river and river mouth and a bit of a climb over to the surf beach for fishing enthusiasts.
Plenty of birdlife around, Topknot pigeons, Magpies, Scrub Turkey's and even a few laughing Kookaburras.
Only one negative we found was entitled campers with their dogs off leash and the people two down from us let their dog run free around the park chasing the birdlife. But I spose that happens in every van park.
Great camp store with two hard-working lads in there. The fish and chips were great value for money and the coffee was pretty good too.
Went to the local bowls club and had dinner at the restaurant there thatvserved Kurdish food. Delicious.
Weather wasn't the best while we were there, but will go back one day for a bit longer than the three nights we were there.
