Open to children and teens aged five to 18, Equi Kids School Holiday Camp offers a full day of horse-filled adventure, learning, and fun. Perfect for beginners through to confident riders, this camp provides a dynamic mix of equestrian activities, horse care, and outdoor play—all in a safe, supportive environment.
Children are grouped by age and experience, with progression built into each day. Activities include grooming, leading, mounted games, basic to advanced riding skills, horse-themed crafts, and team challenges. Each rider is encouraged to build at their own pace, gaining confidence and new abilities with every session.
Progression techniques include:
Daily Skill Focus: new themes each day (e.g. balance, steering, trot transitions)
Confidence Builders: games, obstacle courses, and partner challenges to promote trust and control.
Hands-On Learning: daily routines in feeding, grooming, and care to build independence.
Mini Milestones: personalised tracking of rider progress from groundwork to saddle.
Children are asked to bring a packed lunch, water bottle, sun protection, and enclosed shoes.
