Bermagui is situated under the shadow of Gulaga Mountain which is within the Gulaga National Park.
For beach fishing in Bermagui, try Four Mile Reef, straight out from Keatings Headland for snapper, morwong, tuna and marlin or Six Mile and Twelve Mile Reef offer great fishing for shark, marling and yellow fish.
Horseshoe Bay in Bermagui is patrolled on weekends and public holidays and during the school holidays from September until April.
