NSW is home to some of the best fishing spots around Australia, with its variety of landscapes, estuaries, rivers and creeks. Holiday parks in NSW are scattered throughout the state and offer a unique way to experience the great outdoors.

North Coast

Along the north coast are some of the most popular fishing spots in NSW. Massy Greene Holiday Park is a great spot for a fishing adventure. With direct access to the stunning waters of Brunswick Heads Harbour, you can reel in a variety of species such as Mullet, Luderick and Whiting. Five minutes down the coast is Ferry Reserve Holiday Park, located on the banks of Brunswick River. Here you can catch many varieties of fish including Bream, Whiting, Flathead, Cod, and small Mulloway.

For anglers near Corindi Beach, the local holiday park is a great spot to visit and fish for Yellowfin Bream.

Mid North Coast

Fishing is also popular in the Mid North Coast of NSW and holiday parks in this region provide a lot of opportunities for keen anglers. North Haven Holiday Park is located on the banks of the Camden Haven River and features easy access to the water. Here you can catch plenty of fish species like Bream and Flathead.

Further north, you'll find Bonny Hills Holiday Park located next to the popular Lake Cathie. Here you can fish from the beach or from boats, and many anglers have caught plenty of species such as Whiting, Bream and Flathead. Seal Rocks is another nearby rock wall area with a number of rocky outcrops, perfect for sand flats fishing.

Mid North Coast Parks for Fishing

Country NSW

Despite being further inland, the NSW countryside still has many great fishing spots for amateurs and avid fishing fans to explore alike. Located in the Burrinjuck Waters State Park, Burrinjuck Waters is a great spot for trout fishing. Here you can take your fishing boat out or cast a line from the shore. Burrinjuck Holiday Park also has fish-cleaning facilities at the park.

For freshwater species, Grabine Lakeside Holiday Park is the perfect spot. There are plenty of areas for fishing around the lake, and you'll be able to catch species like Bass, Catfish and Trout. You'll even be able to clean your catches and prepare your soft plastic lures with the facilities at the Reflections Holidays. South Coast
