Things to do at Copeton Waters
Copeton Waters is a haven for outdoor fun, offering everything from fishing and boating to camping and wildlife spotting. If you’re a fishing enthusiast, cast a line for golden perch, Murray cod, and silver perch. For thrill-seekers, the dam is great for water sports like kayaking, skiing, and jet-skiing and the bike trail is a haven for cyclists. Looking for something a little slower? There are stunning views on offer cruising around the dam. The surrounding reserve is perfect for picnics, BBQs, and soaking up the sun, with plenty of space for the kids to run wild.

Plus there is a handy onsite kiosk for snacks and supplies, and the wide-open spaces are perfect for stretching your legs or enjoying a family game of cricket.
Know as the fishing mecca, Copeton Dam is home to the Murray Cod. The consistent size of the cod caught here, means your dream fish is just a line away. Waters is an awesome way to unwind and soak up the stunning surroundings. The dam is loaded with Murray cod, golden perch, silver perch, catfish, yellows, and carp, making it a hotspot for anglers. Known as "the big fish factory," Copeton Dam is a top-notch spot for landing some of the best cod catches in Australia. Please note its catch and release only!

Yep, Copeton Dam has an epic Mountain Bike Trail, starting just below the kiosk and playground, with stunning dam views. Suiting all abilities, and with options of an 11km loop and 4.5km loop, hitting the trail is an epic family adventure. So bring the bikes, helmets, water and puncture repair kits (yep, we love nature) and head on down.

Yes, you can use all park facilities like camp kitchen, boat ramp, splash park, tennis courts and more. Our amenity blocks do not require codes to enter.
You can bring up to 2 dogs per booking on a day pass - please keep your dogs on a leash at all times and dogs are not allowed on the kiosk deck. Please abide by our Reflections dog policy whilst at the park.
The price is $15 per car/ motorbike if booked online or $17.50 per car/motorbike if purchased at the park. Buses and minibuses may be subject to additional fees.
Yes, you can bring a boat or jetski and us our boat ramp to launch it. Please wear life jackets.

Yes, fires are permitted at Reflections Copeton Waters, as long as no fire ban is in place. Fires must be contained.
