Things to do at Copeton Waters

Copeton Waters is a haven for outdoor fun, offering everything from fishing and boating to camping and wildlife spotting. If you’re a fishing enthusiast, cast a line for golden perch, Murray cod, and silver perch. For thrill-seekers, the dam is great for water sports like kayaking, skiing, and jet-skiing and the bike trail is a haven for cyclists. Looking for something a little slower? There are stunning views on offer cruising around the dam. The surrounding reserve is perfect for picnics, BBQs, and soaking up the sun, with plenty of space for the kids to run wild.

Where do I park my car as a day visitor to Copeton Dam?

You can park anywhere within the park. Please respect our overnight campers and cabin stay parkings.

Can I use all the park facilities with a day pass or annual pass?

Yes, you can use all park facilities like camp kitchen, boat ramp, splash park, tennis courts and more. Our amenity blocks do not require codes to enter.

Can I bring my dog to Copeton Waters?

You can bring up to 2 dogs per booking on a day pass - please keep your dogs on a leash at all times and dogs are not allowed on the kiosk deck. Please abide by our Reflections dog policy whilst at the park.

How does the pricing work of a day pass to Reflections Copeton Waters?

The price is $15 per car/ motorbike if booked online or $17.50 per car/motorbike if purchased at the park. Buses and minibuses may be subject to additional fees.

Can I bring a boat or jetski on a day pass?

Yes, you can bring a boat or jetski and us our boat ramp to launch it. Please wear life jackets.

Our kisok is open Monday-Friday 9am-2pm, Saturday and Sunday 9am-3pm hours may alter during peak. Please contact park for confirmation.

Do you hire out any equipment?

Yes, we hire fossicking gear, golf clubs and tennis equipment. Contact the park reception for more details.

What kind of fuel do you sell at Copeton Waters?

We sell premium unleaded, unleaded and diesel fuel at Reflections Copeton Waters.

Can I make a fire as a day visitor to Reflections Copeton Waters?

Yes, fires are permitted at Reflections Copeton Waters, as long as no fire ban is in place. Fires must be contained.
