Red Rock – Community pop up events

20 Oct 2025
5 minutes

Reflections will continue its community conversations by holding two pop-ups in the reserve area, outside the Reflections Red Rock shop - on November 20 from 4pm to 5pm and on November 21 from 10am to 11am.

Interested community members can hear an update on the new stairs to the beach, meet the new regional manager Vanessa Campi and hear more about the proposal to implement fish cleaning tables. Reflections staff will also be inviting the community to complete a short survey at the community pop up to gather community feedback on the fish cleaning table proposal.

The survey will be open from 20 November until the end of November.

The link will also be available on this page from 20 November to ensure as many interested visitors, residents and fishers give their feedback about the proposed new infrastructure.

Reflections started the conversation with the community at its community meeting in March and committed to come back to the community once the outcome of a grant application was confirmed.

Now that we have received confirmation that our grant application was successful, we are continuing the conversation with the community and inviting feedback via a survey.

By gathering feedback through a survey we ensure a wide cross section of the community has the opportunity to provide their feedback.

Reflections has also sought advice about best practice approaches from fisheries experts within the NSW Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development and this information will be shared as part of the community pop up.

The results of the survey will be shared with the community in December.
