Barney's Cafe

Barney’s Cafe can justly claim to be the closest café to the Hume Highway. Barely a minute off the Hume, this popular café is located across from the Bookham Rest Area offering a simple freshly prepared menu. Karen’s banana bread and Caitlin’s scones are particular favourites with visitors. The menu is designed with travellers in mind and includes a variety of delicious pies, hamburgers, freshly made sandwiches and quiche, as well as a variety of sweet treats and beverages. Parking is plentiful for small and large vehicles including horse floats and caravans. The surroundings are relaxing despite being so close to the Highway and ideal for pets. Toilet facilities are available and there is easy access and parking for the disabled.
