McBrides Beach Forster

McBrides Beach is in the northern part of Booti Booti National Park at Cape Hawke at Forster. The recently built McBrides Beach walking track is a 600-metre walk that descends through regenerating littoral rainforest. After about 25 minutes you’ll emerge onto beautiful and isolated McBrides Beach, nestled between rugged cliffs. It's one of those beaches that has you instantly mesmerised and is as good as it looks. It really is the ideal place to escape for the day. Between Burgess and McBrides beach is a fairy pool. It's a semi-private oasis of blue-green, glass-clear water in a secluded cave-like nook. Visitors must monitor tides and proceed with caution – non-slip shoes are recommended for navigation to this spot. You can picnic and swim at McBrides Beach but camping is prohibited. This beach is not patrolled.
