Great camp to meet uo with friends in different states. We drow down from brisbane and friends up from below sydney. The camp facilities were really clean and the other campers were all lovely. We camped on the lake front and our friends had a cabin which was perfect for a family of 4,cabins were really clean too). Kids had a ball at the bike park and the lake was beautiful and nice to swim in and waterski on. Will definitely be back one day! (Oh and new years eve was fantastic at the camp, no raging parties or loud groups,just lots of families enjoying the festivities... the other side of the lake sounded like party central). The cafe was well stocked and coffee was excellent. Ice machine accessible 24/7 and lovely staff.

A day trip for a picnic. Such a lovely tranquil setting, very quiet during the week, the lake was like a mirror.

I have been going to Keepit for 30 years. It was once a great place to go with kayak & tinny hire, bbqs and shelters right along with gas, a well equipped kiosk for peoples convenience. Lately all that's gone. Even the bbqs there are usually out of gas. We pay a $15 entry. Please get it together. There's a kids water park. Big plus, if you have toddlers. I'd love to see the old Keepit back!! Update....just been back. Stayed a night in one of the glamp tents. Highly recommended. And a new bbq facility. The ranger came and filled the gas and cleaned the bbq while we were there. Updated refurbed kiosk too thankfully. Yet to try the luxe huts....

Facilities are good Location is only 30 minutes from Town. Lake is good whenever Barnaby isn't selling water to his mates.

Such an awesome location I wish I could have stayed longer. The lake was so close and dogs loved it. Reception gave me a so called site I could drive through. Well it wasn’t whatsoever but the size I had was lovely with a view of the lake easy to get into still and could remain hitched up. If you don’t want power you can have an amazing lakefront site I wasn’t the only one so other caravans having to turn around and friends to as there is no sign for caravan park turn off to reception and gps takes you down the road. Thankfully in set places you can turn around

Great place to stay and excellent amenities but if you have a dog beware there are Bindis EVERYWHERE - around the cabins and in the open areas between them and the sailing club. Worth considering getting dog boots.
