Welcome to John Dodd Park – a place where fun and relaxation meet! Located on the southern edge of town, this beautiful park is a family favorite, offering something for everyone. The highlight is its exciting pirate-ship themed playground, perfect for sparking children's imaginations and creating hours of adventure. With plenty of shady spots to unwind, comfortable seating, and a refreshing drinking fountain, John Dodd Park is the ideal spot to relax while the kids explore. There's even a bike track for little riders, making it a great destination for active play and family time. The park proudly bears the name of John Brian Dodd (1934–1989), a much-loved local businessman who dedicated his life to supporting youth sports. His passion for community shone through his involvement in the Swimming Club, coaching junior cricket, refereeing rugby league, and playing squash, golf, and touch football. You'll find John Dodd Park just off Wandobah Road, turning into Tallowood Drive as you head south toward the Gunnedah Rugby Club. Pack a picnic, bring the kids, and enjoy a day of fun and relaxation at John Dodd Park – where community spirit lives on!
