Camping in Lake Burrendong means long days packed with water activities, bush walks and hikes, kayaking, fishing and wildlife spotting. Or, simply kick back in your camping chair and soak up the endless stunning water views.

Accommodation options at Reflections Lake Burrendong

No matter what your set-up is, camping in Lake Burrendong is quite literally a breeze. There are options for campers, caravans, campervans and tents, and as Reflections Burrendong is pet-friendly, two dogs are allowed per booking on all campsites.

There are also communal facilities for all guests to enjoy, including two amenity buildings, a laundry, BBQ areas, a kiosk, conference space, playground and swimming pool. There are plenty of activities to be enjoyed including tennis, fossicking and golf, and there's a skate park and a waterslide to really wear the kids out.

For those who love to roll up and plug into power for appliances and devices, there are extra-large powered sites for caravans, motorhomes and campervans of up to 20 metres in length, and great for tents, all in the main park area.

There are grass and dirt powered sites only, with no slabs in the park. Each has access to water and can comfortably accommodate up to six guests.

There are more than 600 unpowered bush camp sites for off-the-grid camping at Lake Burrendong, and there are extra-large sites on the lake's edge that are perfect for big rigs and those who love an off-grid experience. You'll have plenty of space around you.

For water access, taps are located around the park and at the amenity blocks. Water is potable, so you won't be going without this little luxury while still enjoying a more traditional camping experience.

Park facilities and amenities when Lake Burrendong camping

When camping in Lake Burrendong, guests are spoilt with the huge array of facilities and amenities at hand.

There are two amenity buildings, so there's rarely any queuing, and the laundry is kitted out with washers and dryers, as well as plenty of washing line space.

While Reflections Lake Burrendong does not have a camp kitchen, BBQ areas are scattered throughout the park to whip up a quick feast for rumbling tummies. Plus, there is a fully stocked kiosk that sells hot food, coffee, firewood, groceries, snacks, ice, fishing gear (including rods), drinks, souvenirs and some clothing. There's also swap-n-go gas bottles and fuel available at a handy onsite gas station.

For kids, there is so much to do. There's a playground with plenty of grass area to throw a frisbee or play cricket, a swimming pool that the whole family will enjoy, and a waterslide which is operational during the Christmas and New Years period.

To keep the teens busy, there's a skate park and the whole family can have a hit of tennis on the full-sized courts.

If you want to try your hand at striking gold (you never know!) you can go fossicking.

For fishers, there are two boat ramps that can be used at different times according to the tides, and one which is in continual use no matter the water height. In these parts you're likely to catch a redfin, silver or golden perch, catfish, Murray cod, carp, rainbow or brown trout, and there are handy fish cleaning facilities onsite.
