Join Koala Conservation Australia for one last visit to the 'old' Port Macquarie Koala Hospital before redevelopment begins!
From May 2025, the Port Macquarie Koala Hospital will close for redevelopment, creating a new visitor experience, improved koala enclosures, veterinary clinic and more.
They're throwing open the doors for one last visit to the Koala Hospital! Join KCA at the Koala Hospital for:
Access to koala enclosures: Get an koala-eye view of the world from inside the enclosures.
Wander the grounds: Enjoy one last wander, reminisce and share your memories with the volunteers and staff.
Market stalls: Shop (perfect for Mother's Day) and get some great bargains as they clear out their retail stock ahead of moving it all to Guulabaa.
Engage with community partners, including Koala Smart, Hello Koalas, Port Macquarie-Hastings Council, King Creek RFS, Tacking Point Lions Club, Mrs Yorks Gardens and more.
Grab a delicious coffee and scone from Home at Roto House!
The is an all-ages and free event, but you can register your interest on the KCA website.
Please note that no koalas will be onsite on this day.
