Riverside adventures galore while camping in Ballina

Camping in Ballina gives you easy access to beaches, bike trails, fishing spots and Ballia's cafes, restaurants and pubs on your doorstep

The Far North Coast of New South Wales is blessed with more than its fair share of beautiful beaches and picturesque waterways for fishing and water sports.

Camping in Ballina at Reflections Holidays places you at the epicentre of these natural attractions, and it’s only a 15-minute drive to Lennox Head and half an hour from the thriving hub of Byron Bay.

If you’re camping in Ballina, with the park being so close to the town of Central Ballina, you can enjoy the many cafes, pubs and restaurants, and explore an amazing array of beaches all in the one day.

There’s also 25 kilometres of bike paths in Ballina to explore while being surrounded by nature, and pack your line and tackle, as the Richmond River is a hotspot for fishing.

Tailor your Ballina camping experience

When it comes to camping, it’s always about getting the right spot for your set-up, having the best view possible, and amenities close at hand.

When camping in Reflections Ballina, there are options to suit everyone, and the waterfront location of the park means there are pleasing vistas everywhere you look.

The park has Standard Powered Campsites on slabs for those who like to camp grass-free, and Standard Powered Campsites on natural grass for that authentic camping feel.

Those with furry friends in tow will be delighted to know that both options are dog-friendly, and each booking allows two pets. There’s even a dog wash to keep pooches sand and mud-free!

The grassy campsites are perfect for tents (and can accommodate four guests), and both types are great for caravans, campervans, trailers and motorhomes.

The smooth concrete slabs make setting up a breeze. They fit set-ups of up to seven metres, and can accommodate up to six guests. There are single and double slabs options, and all sites have easy access to power, water and sullage facilities.

The campsites are close to the park’s amenities, so there’s no stumbling around in the dark when nature calls, or you want to have drinks and meals in the camp kitchen after sunset.

Ballina amenities

The camp kitchen at Reflections Ballina is spacious, with high pitched ceilings and large windows letting the light flood in. There’s plenty of seating at long bench tables and high stools are fanned out beneath the windows so you can enjoy a cuppa, cold bevvie or a meal while looking out at the park’s abundant greenery. Ice is even available to keep your drinks cool on a hot summer’s day.

Cooking meals is super easy as guests can make use of the barbecue, microwave, full-sized fridge, microwave and kettle in the camp kitchen.

If you’re camping in Ballina for a longer period of time, the park has a full laundry with washing machines, dryers, an ironing board and even a small library of books so you can keep yourself occupied while waiting. Hang your clothes on the clothesline and let them dry in the ocean breeze.
