The Norah Head Lighthouse Wedding Lawn can accommodate up to 100 guests for ceremonies, creating a beautiful and exclusive space for your special moment. The open lawn offers flexibility in styling, allowing couples and event planners to personalise the space with their own decorations, seating arrangements, and floral displays. Receptions cannot be held on-site.
Facilities and amenities
While the venue is fully open-air, gazebos or tents can be brought in for shade and shelter, ensuring comfort for you and your guests. Additionally, power is available on-site, allowing for microphone setups, music, and other essentials to enhance your ceremony.

On-site accommodation at Norah Head
Extend your celebrations with a stay in one of the three heritage-listed lighthouse keepers’ cottages, offering charming and comfortable overnight accommodation. These beautifully restored cottages provide the perfect retreat for the wedding party or close family and friends, allowing you to enjoy the serene surroundings for longer.
The Head Lightkeepers Quarters
The Head Lightkeeper’s Quarters is a spacious and character-filled cottage that accommodates up to nine guests. Featuring three generously sized bedrooms and a separate dining room, this historic residence boasts high ceilings, polished wooden floors, and breathtaking views from every window. The sleeping arrangements include a king bed and a king single in one bedroom, while the remaining two bedrooms each contain a queen bed and a king single. Guests will also enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable sitting room, indoor and outdoor toilet facilities, and a wraparound veranda—perfect for barbecues or simply admiring the surrounding landscape.
The Assistant Lightkeepers Quarters
Equally captivating, the Assistant Lightkeeper’s Quarters offers the same historic charm and accommodation for up to nine guests. While retaining the grandeur of high ceilings and period features, its layout differs slightly, featuring a combined kitchen and dining area. The beautifully appointed bedrooms include a king bed and a king single in one, with queen beds and king singles in the other two.

Can we use the lighthouse, inside and out for wedding photos?
Wedding parties who hire the Venue have exclusive access to use the Tower and the Reserve grounds for their photography.
Can I hold the reception on the lighthouse grounds?
At this stage, we are not offering reception events, only ceremony and grounds hire
