Copeton Waters Golf Course at Reflections Copeton Waters is located in the heart of NSW’s New England region, just 45-minute drive from Inverell airport, and an hours’ drive to Glen Innes.
It’s the perfect place for team building, or hire the space for an outdoor event.
The 12-hole golf course is set amongst quintessential Australian bush, bringing together a challenging game of golf with a good bushwalk.
The course is a rustic, bush, 12-hole golf course. The putting ‘greens’ (more swept dirt and sparsely peppered grass than manicured greens) are surrounded by bush near beautiful Copeton Dam.
The golf course is on the grounds of Reflections Copeton Waters, so it’s an ideal place for corporate retreats, school and sport groups, weddings and special events, and it would make for a wonderful space for groups focussed on education and training.
There are demountable amenities for the golf course, or there are amenities blocks in the park that golfers can use. After a half-day on the golf course, it’s hard to beat the peaceful waterfront location of the campsites and cabins.
The park's amenities (a short drive away) including two amenities blocks with laundry and accessible facilities. There’s plenty of open areas, BBQs, a camp kitchen and fire pits for those cosy evenings. Firewood is available for purchase at the kiosk.
If you prefer to hand the organisation of your event over to someone else, event management services can be arranged, and activities organised for team building.
Day delegate packages are available, which can include breakfast, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. Tea, coffee and water can be provided.
There is also a kiosk on site.
Reflections Copeton Waters has a range of accommodation options, including 17 cabins (25 being twin share) and 385 campsites.
Copeton Waters Deluxe cabins can accommodate six or seven guests across 2 bedrooms, and there is also an accessible option.
There are standard dog-friendly cabins can take two to four guests in a studio-style setup.
For schools and sporting groups, the bunkhouse is ideal as it sleeps 46 guests across seven bedrooms and a handy large open space in the centre for team activities. If you prefer to self cater, there is a commercial kitchen available.
For groups looking to camp, with their own equipment, the park has dog-friendly standard powered sites, and off-the-grid unpowered sites (also dog-friendly) scattered around the lake. These can take all kinds of camping setups from caravans, motorhomes, campervans, rooftop tents and tents - extra large rigs are welcome.
Relax under the stars in the evenings beside the fixed fire pits, or chill at a BBQ area and whip up a feed while digesting the day’s events.
The sheltered camp kitchen is well-equipped with BBQ, hotplates and fridges; everything you need to cook dinner and relax at the firepit.
