Buiree Point is a largely flat headland that’s an undiscovered gem and an ideal setting for exciting outdoor events and festivals.

Located in the heart of New England in NSW, and a part of Reflections Copeton Waters, it’s a versatile open-air space that can accommodate up to 2000 people. 

The scenic point is half an hours’ drive from Inverell airport, just over and hours’ drive to Glen Innes.

Copeton Waters Buiree Point ticks all these boxes, and then some. With hectares of flat or gently sloping land surrounded by Australian bush.

Buiree Point Copeton Waters is ideal for festivals, corporate retreats, conferences, school and sports groups, weddings, special events, and education and training groups.

Facilities and amenities

This space is an open blank canvas. Portaloos and food trucks can be brought in for festivals and large events.

The facilities of Reflections Copeton Waters, including the conference centre, golf course, camp kitchens and other park facilities are a short drive away.

Event management & flexible set-ups

Large-scale event management services can be arranged for your festival or event, alongside organised activities for team building.

Port-a-loos and marquees can be ordered and arranged, stages and lighting brought in and set up, and power organised to ensure everything goes smoothly. Seating can also be arranged for hundreds of guests.

Your imagination is the only limit with this kind of enormous, open-air venue blessed with a beautiful lakeside setting.

Catering

Day delegate packages are available, which can include breakfast, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. Tea, coffee and water can be provided.

Reflections Copeton Waters has a range of accommodation, including 17 cabins (25 being twin share) and 385 campsites.

Copeton Waters Deluxe cabins can accommodate six or seven guests across 2 bedrooms, and there’s also an accessible option.

There are standard dog-friendly cabins can take two to four guests in a studio-style setup.

For schools and sporting groups, the bunkhouse is ideal as it sleeps 46 guests across seven bedrooms and a handy large open space in the centre for team activities. If you prefer to self cater, there is a commercial kitchen available.

Camping at Copeton Waters

For groups looking to camp, with their own equipment, the park has dog-friendly standard powered sites, and off-the-grid unpowered sites (also dog-friendly) scattered around the lake. These can take all kinds of camping setups from caravans, motorhomes, campervans, rooftop tents and tents - extra large rigs are welcome.

Relax under the stars in the evenings beside the fixed fire pits, or chill at a BBQ area and whip up a feed while digesting the day’s events.

The sheltered camp kitchen is well-equipped with BBQ, hotplates and fridges; everything you need to cook dinner and then relax at the firepit.
