Frequently asked questions

What time is check in/check out at the park?

Check in for both powered and unpowered sites at Urunga Holiday Park is from 11am, whilst cabins allow check in from 3pm onwards.

If you plan to arrive after office hours (8am – 6pm) please let us know so that we can have all relevant documents waiting for your arrival.

Checkout from both Sites and Cabins is 10am.

What should I bring for my stay?

Preparing for a holiday can be a massive journey in itself. At Reflections Urunga Holiday and Caravan Park, our aim is to ensure guests are as well-equipped as possible before hitting the open road.

If you’re planning a stay in one of our cabins or beach tents, we have many of the essentials covered, with linen, towels and kitchenware all provided. All you’ll need is some delicious treats, comfy clothes, good company and a thirst for adventure.

For guests pitching a tent on our campsites () or setting up shop in your caravans or camper trailers, contact Urunga Reflections before you arrive to check what facilities are available in the Camp Kitchen. We also recommend packing a torch and spare batteries, your trusty first aid kit, plenty of insect repellent, sunscreen and hats to keep you sun-safe, and rubbish bags to keep the park tidy for the next guests on your site.

Is your park dog-friendly?

Urunga Caravan Park is dog-friendly all year round on selected dog-friendly sites. Up to 2 dogs can be booked online, by phone, or in park.

What hire equipment do you offer for kids / families?

At Urunga Holiday and Caravan Park, we have kayaks and go karts available to hire.

What activities are nearby?

There is a playground near the boardwalk.

The Urunga boardwalk extends out into the wetlands and there are lots of local nature trails, too. We also have bike tracks and family friendly bike paths nearby.

For fishing, the Kelang/ Bellinger River is the best spot.

Where are the nearest bars, supermarkets and other shops?

The nearest cafe/ coffee shop and pub to Reflections Urunga is right across the road from the park. There is also a bowling club just two blocks away.

The nearest shop to the Urunga Caravan Park is the grocery store called Spar, which is across the road from the park.

Are linen and towels provided in the cabins at Urunga Caravan Park

All linen and towels are provided by Reflections Urunga for stays in their cabins. The master bed will be made up on arrival, while bedding packs are provided for the other beds.

Does Urunga Holiday Park have a firepit or allow firepits?

No individual fires are permitted in the park. There is a seasonal community firepit outside the camp kitchen, which is lit by park staff.
