These grass and dirt sites are scattered throughout the park and can accommodate everything from caravans and campervans to motorhomes, rooftop tents, and classic tents up to 20 metres in length. Each site is spacious enough for up to six people and welcomes dogs, so your four-legged friend doesn’t have to miss out on the fun. Even though you’re off-grid, you’ll still have access to all the park’s handy amenities, including BBQs, a camp kitchen, laundry facilities, and even electric vehicle charging points. There’s a volleyball court and playground to keep the crew entertained, too. When it’s time to explore beyond the campsite, you’ll find plenty to do in nearby Tumut. Wander along the scenic Tumut River Walk, sip on craft brews at Tumut River Brewing Co., or visit during the Festival of the Falling Leaf for a true taste of local culture. What time is check in/check out at Tumut Caravan Park?

Check in for campsites at the park is from 11am, whilst cabins allow check in from 3pm onwards.

If you plan to arrive after office hours (8am - 6pm) please let us know so that we can have all relevant documents waiting for your arrival.

Checkout from both sites and cabins is 10am.

What should I bring for my stay in Tumut River?

Preparing for a holiday can be a massive journey in itself, at Reflections Holidays our aim is to ensure guests are as well-equipped as possible before hitting the open road.

If you’re planning a stay in one of our cabins, we have many of the essentials covered, with linen, towels and kitchenware all provided. All you’ll need is some delicious treats, some comfy clothes, good company and a thirst for adventure.

For guests camping in your tent or setting up shop in your caravan, Tumut River has a well-equipped camp kitchen, laundry and amenity blocks.

We also recommend packing a torch and spare batteries, your trusty First Aid Kit, plenty of insect repellent, sun screen and hats to keep you sun safe and rubbish bags to keep the park tidy for the next guests on your site.

Oh, and don’t forget the tent pegs too!!

Can I bring my own BBQ/firepit/campfire?

You are welcome to have your own BBQ or campfire on your site (rules apply).

  • Guests must comply with fire restrictions imposed by the Park Manager/Fire Authority,
  • Campfires must be contained in a fire pit and always attended,
  • Firepits must be up off the ground,
  • Firewood can be purchased from the kiosk or outside the park,
  • Fires must be completely extinguished after use.
  • No chainsaws may be used
