Located on the north-eastern side of the park, the cabin offers partial glimpses of the river and a light-filled living space with high ceilings. The main bedroom includes a queen bed, while the second bedroom features a double bed with a single bunk overhead, great for those needing flexible sleeping arrangements.
The compact galley kitchen comes with the essentials, including a fridge, cooktop, microwave, kettle, toaster, and basic cutlery and crockery. There’s an open-plan dining and lounge area with a TV, a bathroom with a shower, and a small verandah where you can sit and enjoy the fresh air. An air conditioner helps keep the cabin comfortable throughout the year.

What should I bring for my stay in Tumut River?
Preparing for a holiday can be a massive journey in itself, at Reflections Holidays our aim is to ensure guests are as well-equipped as possible before hitting the open road.
If you’re planning a stay in one of our cabins, we have many of the essentials covered, with linen, towels and kitchenware all provided. All you’ll need is some delicious treats, some comfy clothes, good company and a thirst for adventure.
For guests camping in your tent or setting up shop in your caravan, Tumut River has a well-equipped camp kitchen, laundry and amenity blocks.
We also recommend packing a torch and spare batteries, your trusty First Aid Kit, plenty of insect repellent, sun screen and hats to keep you sun safe and rubbish bags to keep the park tidy for the next guests on your site.
Oh, and don’t forget the tent pegs too!!

Can I bring my own BBQ/firepit/campfire?
You are welcome to have your own BBQ or campfire on your site (rules apply).
- Guests must comply with fire restrictions imposed by the Park Manager/Fire Authority,
- Campfires must be contained in a fire pit and always attended,
- Firepits must be up off the ground,
- Firewood can be purchased from the kiosk or outside the park,
- Fires must be completely extinguished after use.
- No chainsaws may be used

Lovely campsite on the Tumut River. Sites spacious. Camp kitchen clean. Bathrooms clean.
Superb site by the river. Water was just right when we visited.
This is supposed to be the superior cabin. I don’t think so. We stayed in a superior cabin in the Discovery Park in Kinka beach QLD. It was as old as this one. But much bigger, with a car awning. And no cockatoo’s. We came here at a good time, end of February 2026....
Highly recommended this beautiful camp site. Right on the river with an added bonus of a friendly platapus
