Stayed for the first time and bit disappointed. $80 per night is quite expensive for what you get. *Office staff are friendly enough. *Extremely small tight spots campers are like sardines no privacy between caravans. *Showers poor water pressure however it's clean. * Dogs are allowed but There are alot dog fleas at camp site they not sand fleas. Interesting no sand fleas closer to the beach. Unfortunately will not return. In my opinion its ok for emergency overnight stays only. Best of luck and Thank you for having us.

Worst CP we have ever stayed at . Booked for a 7.5m van and got allocated a 7m spot with no room to park our vehicle . Crammed in like sardines so badly we had to get guests across from us to all move their vehicles to park. Staff took no responsibility for their error and told us to park our vehicle out on the road . Or pay another $420 to move to another site which they couldn’t guarantee was free for the whole duration of our stay. The beach and park areas does not allow dogs despite being next to the beach. On departure we had to enlist several guests to help us manually move the van out of site to be able to hitch it to our vehicle. The sites are so tiny we almost backed into someone’s awning and we could all literally hear each other inside our vans. Just a shocking set up and no care factor by the management . Will not go back

We stayed here in our caravan. Staff were excellent. The location is ideal and next to a lake and the river. Also very close to the famous Ballina parkrun. The only problem was the lights in the amenities blocks keep turning off leaving customers fumbling in the dark in the toilet cubicles. This only saves them about $1 a year in electricity.

Great location, really helped us out with last minute booking as we had a dog travelling with us. Right on the waters edge, fantastic views and impeccable facilities. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed here for two nights in our motorhome with our dog. The park has all your basic facilities. The star attraction of this park, in my opinion, is its location. You are in good walking distance or better with bicycles, like us, to various beaches, waterways, eateries, and general site seeing such as the sea wall with its full length paved walk and cycle way. The park caters well for people with dogs. Our dog made herself quite at home and was able to read the signs and knew what to do............

There is some really helpful staff and good fishing in Shaw's Bay.
