Nice little park except for the fun police kicking out kids just for jumping in. Kids just being kids...it's normal to splash around. That's what pools are for. Be more friendly rather than the prison guard approach!

A truly lovely campground. The cleanest I've ever encountered and with the most wonderful of staff. The camp kitchens are the stuff of dreams; clean, beautifully maintained, well stocked, they've thought of everything. Some of the sites are very exposed and get quite hot in summer, but there's no shortage of places to cool off or shelter. The bathrooms are inexplicably clean for a beach campsite, and the showers are truly revitalising. The waste management is immaculate. There's holiday activities for kids and everyone and the most incredible communication from staff at all times, including during storms. It's a bit of a walk to the patrolled surf beach area and a short stroll to the tidal pool. The Bundageree Headland Walk is within easy reach and it's stunning. The mini golf is very popular and there's also table tennis and a playground, so nobody has an opportunity to be bored here. But if you were, there's a TV for watching cricket (may or may not make you less bored, no guarantees!)

Hired a cabin. Good size, well maintained. Clean bathroom and cabin. Bathroom shower small but adequate. Bedroom for adults has sliding door for privacy and TV. 2 bunk beds for kids. Good size fridge and freezer. 2 pot Cooktown and microwave. Small enclosed verandah with table and chairs suitable for outdoor dining.dining table inside as well. TV and 2 seater couch. Air con unit.Great access to beach from park. Really clean and tidy camp-site and overall. Also nice not too many permanent cabins/caravans. My only gripe with this place is if you are checking in to a glimpse, tiny house or cabin CHECK-IN ISNT UNTIL 3.00PM!!!! I've travelled the world extensively and travelled the circumference of Australia. Never ever have i been to a pla e with check-in at 3.00!! Bad enough 2.00pm. You pay for the day but can't get in until late afternoon meanwhile caravans, tents rvs are in at 10.00. If i had realised I think k i would have gone elsewhere. What a waste of funds for a day you don't get. Ridiculous.
