Stayed here for two nights over the weekend whilst visiting Dubbo Zoo (100-110km away) and absolutely loved the scenery and wide open spaces. Ammenities where basic but in well kept condition. BBQ's have not been used in a while by the looks of it but for self sufficient campers this won't be an issue. plenty of shelter and places for tent camping or car camping. **Roads are a little sub par in the lower camping grounds so smaller cars beware. although all cars would easily access all areas. You will enjoy the wildlife around at all times as well, but will never find this park cramped for space ! Camp Fires where allowed due no fire-ban in place (We used a fire pit) but recommend bringing some water with you as the dam level is currently at 6% ** Only 4 star due to arrival at night (After hours) and unable to find the far campsite until a phone call to the friendly night shift manager. a little bit our part for not checking the park maps. but after finding the main area at the end of the road we thoroughly enjoyed our stay** (Would love a little extra signage).

This is a great little camping and caravaning spot about an hour outside of Orange. We picked up an unpowered site the day before Easter and had our choice of a number of different locations with great views. The downside (or upside, depending on your perspective) is there is no cell phone reception here. 3 days with no internet was a little daunting, but it brought the family together. The pools are very well maintained, but there is no communal kitchen. When we were there the dam was at 7% of capacity and you can see the potential waterline from the photo. Will definitely be back.

Had an absolute ball very quiet especially for new years celebration. My kids can't wait to go back. Great place to catch up. Plenty of camping space. Bathrooms were very tidy.
