I visited this place with my friends during the Christmas holidays. We were camping near the lake but the place where we have stayed lacked water supply, electric supply as well as the place where we have placed our tent was not so plain with pebbles...

It’s a nice and beautiful place. I camped in a weekend of April. Toilet is very clean and maintained every day. It was not a peak season so there was not too much visitors. It’s better to settle down before sunset, to avoid of getting lost, since the place is very big....

What a hidden gem. If you get the chance to spend some time here, definitely recommend it. Amazing view of the Burrendong Dam. Kangaroos, deer, goats and parrots all come up to keep you company Very clean amenities. Lovely staff

I very much prefer Mookerawa over burrendong. Much cleaner amenities and better fishing
