This park does not reflect the pictures on the internet. Four of us travelling and average age is mid to low 60’s. All we wanted was to sit with our seats in the lake and fish! Our sites were 150 metres from the lake which was downhill through bush, trees and rocks. There is no way you could walk to the lake ( we coukd not even see it). If you pack everything in the car to spend the day at the lake from the park there is no where you could really go, no grass, no shade or gazebos and seats. Staff are nice, sites are ok, but small. Facilities could be cleaner, no hot water at all! They use this lake to advertise but it is not useable for us at all. Would think twice if you are looking for a relaxing swim or fish in a lake before you book. Roughly 30 klms from nearest town so absolutely nothing to do there. There is one boat ramp.

Ok, I did try ringing to ask questions and voice my concerns but no one answers the phone EVER. As I tried several times. I think I will also report my concern to Dubbo council as some governing authority needs to oversee the health and safety issues with this park amenities as others have left similar concerns in reviews and the management response looks like a chat GPT response acknowledging the faults but saying you plan to do absolutely nothing to rectify the problems but will happily continue to take the revenue the park generates and not provide a safe space for the consumer. Like others have pointed out, the toilets and showers are in DESPERATE NEED OF A UPDATE, tiles missing on the showers are a DANGEROUS RISK to injury of the consumer. I drove around the park for a good half hour looking for a dump point and failed to find one. It’s expected that a REFLECTIONS PARK would provide one for its customers. The ROADS IN THE PARK ARE SO BAD AND NEEDING URGENT REPAIR. The powered sites are rocky and almost uninhabitable yet you don’t mind the revenue they generate. How about you start spending some money on the place and repair these issues instead of just replying to the reviews with pathetic responses.

Myself and a group of friends with our kids camped here for 7 nights. The lake is great, good for boating, fishing and swimming but I wouldn't stay here again. Our camp area had no grass, it was just dirt and weeds with bindis everywhere. There was lots of noise throughout the night from people partying and speeding through the park and they didn't open the slide at all while we were there despite many children wanting to use it (there was even a sign saying it would be open daily from 2-4). Although I wouldn't stay here again I must admit that there are lots of nearby attractions which are great - the zoo, Wellington caves and wineries.

This place is an Health and Safety nightmare and I have no idea how they are still operational as a camp ground. I have a low bar for these sorts of places but this one didn't even try. Areas close to the water are extremely rocky, can't really camp in many spots with a swag or tent. I have no idea where you are supposed to camp in the "Eagle Beagle" area. The amenities near the main road are dirty, gross, hot steam rooms, and that is with only using cold water for showers. The amenities in the middle of the cabins were only slightly better. Tiles missing in showers, filthy toilets, generally dirty. Hot water is turned on for each individual shower outside the cubicle and only lasts about 3 mins. The toilets all over the park were disgusting, and I don't expect clean like home, these are worse than shopping centres. The hired porta-loos were the cleanest, though hot in the heat, but they were taken away after new years. The washing machine was decent. Not many clothes lines to dry clothes. The pool is pretty small, dirty (you can't see your feet in the water) and the liner is coming off. The toddler pool is hollow underneath, the lining is all pitted and the pavers on the side of the pool are lose, to the point that if you stand on it you go bottom over and hurt yourself (seemingly been like this for 2 years). It doesn't cost that much to clean the pool filter or replace it. You have to pay for the slide $6 for unlimited rides between 2 and 4. The cost is not stated on their website anywhere. Only runs when the person feels like it, as quoted by the person running the kiosk. There is a huge crack at the top, that someone will slice their leg open one day when their foot goes through. The dam was lovely to swim in. Lots of places to get it, though rocky. Lots of people on boats and fishing. This is why you come here. Just clean the amenities.... It's not that hard.

The most recent review was spot on. This is not a spot for camping what so-ever. It’s for locals who have motor homes or fixed units on site. Having powered camping sites by fixed accommodation, all you could hear gone midnight was people on their decks. The powered camping is terrible, next to the road away from any shelter. The road is busy through to the early hours with no noise limits in place and it starts up early again. Advertised as extra large camp sites, we were surrounded by vans. The camp ground was set for that, not at all pleasant. We stayed one night out of the 7 we’d planned as it wasn’t accomodating at all. Sure it is a great set up if you’re in a caravan or motorhome, but it is not suited for campers. Whilst the response below advises there is hundreds of hectares of space for non-powered even these were filled with motor homes or alike. Looked great for wakeboarding just steer clear if you are planning to camp.

RUN!!! We made the mistake of not reading previous reviews. The park is primarily made up of permanent trailer residences. Like others experiences, we had issues with uneven rocky campsites and a filthy pool. We were told the slide was to be open from 2-4pm, but after we got the kids excited and changed, we were then told that they weren't going to open after all?!? All this aside, our biggest issue was with the other campers. Loud music, loud cars hooning around at late hours clearly drink driving, loud yelling and screaming. This park is where Bogan's and Red necks come to holiday and no amount of management can change their clients or the permanent residents who call this park home. Go elsewhere!

Absolutely love the location. So much wildlife, beautiful views of the lake. Very relaxing and quiet during the week
