What can I say but OMG, one of life's pleasure to experience, If you are lucky enough like we were, that is for a few days we had the entire park to ourselves, well had to share it with heaps of kangaroos and abundant bird life so we put up with that....
In terms of location, it's absolutely perfect. It's remote, perfect for just sitting back and relaxing. There is limited mobile/data reception (Telstra has no coverage here at all), but this is a part of the attraction as far as I'm concerned....
We stayed the weekend before the Australia Day weekend and were very surprised how few people were there. It is magnificent at present. Beautiful water (almost full) the grass is green (exceptional for this time of year)...
I stayed here as attending a wedding at Bigga but if you want to do absolutely nothing this is for you.People use the lake for water skiing and fishing.There is a limited kiosk but hopefully in high season opened more regularly .I stayed in the House...
We went when the park was very quiet and it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. It was so peaceful and worth the 4hr drive from Sydney. It was picture perfect. The banyande cabins are sufficiently equipped and well insulated even tho it was 4° outside it was warm inside....
Absolutely stunning place to stay. All the staff are super friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make sure you are enjoying your time away. We camped at Three Tree Point and enjoyed the stunning mountain views and amazing sunsets....
Stunning, beautiful, relaxing, quite! Absolutely love it here! The place to go when you need to escape from the norm! No phone reception and nothing but clear skys, glass water and nature.
