Welcome to Reflections Evans Head, the largest coastal park in our collection—just two hours south of Brisbane and set right by the water.
Cook up a storm in the camp kitchen
When it’s time to feed the crew, head to the camp kitchens on the northern side of the park. They’re stocked with all the essentials—BBQs, fridges, microwaves and picnic tables—so you can prep a big brekkie or grill up the catch of the day with ease.
Amenity blocks
With four amenity blocks spread across the park, clean showers and toilets are always close by—no long hikes in your thongs required.
Park laundry
Need to freshen up your gear? The laundry has six washing machines, tumble dryers, and outdoor drying lines to help you stay on top of things during your stay.
For the dogs
Furry mates are welcome too. After a run along the beach or a paddle in the creek, give them a rinse at the dog wash—perfect for sandy paws and happy tails.
For the kids
Little travellers will love the playground, and during the holidays, there are school holiday activities to keep them busy and smiling.
Kiosk
Feeling snacky? Pop into the kiosk for a quick bite, a cold drink, or a classic Aussie ice cream on a sunny afternoon.

For van travellers, there’s a dump point located centrally in the park—easy access and no fuss.

Our laundry facilities are card-only for convenience. No need to worry about carrying cash!
Where can I find the Kiosk/Café at Reflections Evans Head?
The Kiosk/Café is located near the playground at the Riverside Precinct. It’s operated separately and offers breakfast and lunch, with longer hours during summer. Generally, it closes at 3 pm.
How many camp kitchens are available at the park, and what facilities do they have? There are two camp kitchens at Reflections Evans Head:
- Near the footbridge: Features a kettle, toaster, microwave, oven/cooktop, 2 fridges, 4 BBQs, 2 sinks, TV, and 6 timber picnic tables.
- Near the office: Includes a kettle, toaster, fridge, 4 BBQs, microwave, cooktop, oven, and sink.
Can I refill my gas bottle at Reflections Evans Head?
Yes, you can swap and go or purchase a gas bottle from the office. However, there is no refill service available at Evans Head.
Are there walking and biking tracks nearby?
Yes, there are walking trails through Dirrawong Reserve (just across the river), bike tracks from the park, and a scenic walk over the bridge to the breakwall. You can also drive on the beach at Airforce Beach.
Are there any communal fire pits at the park?
No, there are no communal fire pits at Reflections Evans Head. However, BBQs are located throughout the park for your convenience.
Are there playgrounds at the park?
Yes, we have two great playgrounds:
- Beachside Precinct: A small playground next to the BBQ area at Site 139.
- Riverside Precinct: A larger, popular playground located behind Sites 409 - 414.
Can I hire equipment at Reflections Evans Head?
Yes! You can hire paddle boards and canoes from Surf Shak (a local business) on the riverside during weekends. We also have pedal carts and push bikes available for hire from the park office.
