Make it an extra long weekend...

A NSW Far North Coast Road Trip is one of the most popular and scenic drives in Australia. It is a great way to explore the beautiful coastline, lush rainforests, vibrant cities, and stunning national parks on offer on the NSW east coast part.

Starting your road trip from Evans Head, there are plenty of iconic landmarks to visit and activities as you wind your way up this beautiful stretch of coastline.

Set out from Evan Heads

Evans Head is a small coastal town located in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales. It’s a great place to visit for a beach holiday or to explore the local forests and beaches.

Head to the Evans Head Heritage Aviation and take a look at vintage aircraft, including a replica of a WWI Bristol fighter. The aerodrome also doubles as an art gallery where you can admire amazing works by local artists. Or visit one of the many beaches in the area, like North Creek Beach or Main Beach. For some peace and quiet, check out the Evans Head River Estuary or wander down the Beachfront Walk.
