To help you plan, here's a to-do list of Eden walks, hikes and trails to check out during your stay, whether you're flying solo or here with the whole family.
From Reflections Eden holiday park, you can take a short, easy stroll south along the golden sands of Aslings Beach until you hit the rock pools in Apex Park. Marvel at the pink rock cliffs and have a casual splash around while you're there.
If dramatic views are your style, you won't want to miss out on Eden Lookout and Rotary Park. It's a prime spot to catch pods of whales as they migrate along the coast from May to November. And once your eyes have had their fill of the coastline, make your way back into town via Snug Cove for a saunter along the wharf.
Speaking of whales, make sure you stop by the Killer Whale Museum. The exhibits guide you through the whaling history of the area, including a chance to see Old Tom, the remains of a local marine celebrity.

Walk in the footsteps of the Aboriginal people from Yuin, Ngarigo, Jaitmathang, Bidawal Country on the ancient Bundian Way Story Trail. This long-distance trail spans approximately 365 km from Turemulerrer (Twofold Bay) to the Targangal mountain ranges (Mount Kosciuszko), giving you the opportunity to absorb the area's rich history and changing landscape.

Eden's maritime heritage walk is a great way to really get to know the town and its history. Pick up a map at the Eden Visitor Information Centre and take yourself on a walking tour to cross paths with significant sites to learn about Eden's cultural history from convict times to today.
There's an assortment of green spaces to explore in and around Eden. From the mangrove forests of the Lake Curalo Boardwalk, to the Davidson Whaling Station on the southern side of Twofold Bay. Travel up and down the coastline for adventures of all sizes and flavours – it's the best way to make the most of the beautiful Sapphire Coast.

As a must-see destination, Beowa National Park (previously Ben Boyd National Park) is a natural amusement park for anyone who loves the outdoors. Alongside swimming, surfing and picnicking, you can take one of the more relaxed trails, like the Pambula River or Pinnacles loop walking tracks, or get the blood pumping via the more active Light to Light Walk.
Intersecting with the Light to Light Walk, the Boyds Tower Walking Track takes you up to Boyds Tower for some jaw-dropping vistas of the Pacific Ocean and the surrounding coast. It will take less than an hour out and back via the wheelchair-accessible boardwalk.

Are you a thrill seeker? Then block out some time to hit the Eden MTB trails at Gravity Eden. This mountain biking wonderland puts you in the wilds of the local bush to tackle some winding and undulating paths. Eden Gravity trails come in a variety of difficulty levels, making them suitable for first-time riders to seasoned pros.

You can’t do one continuous walk all the way around Twofold Bay, but there are plenty of coastal tracks and paths around Eden that let you explore different sections on foot. Walking between beaches, headlands and harbour lookouts is a great way to experience the bay’s scenery at a relaxed pace.
Some of the best whale-watching spots are along the coast in Beowa National Park, especially around headlands and clifftop tracks. Elevated viewpoints near Green Cape and other coastal lookouts offer excellent chances to spot migrating humpback and southern right whales during the season (May to November).
Yes, a NSW National Parks vehicle entry fee or pass generally applies when accessing areas of Beowa National Park by car, even if you’re just there to walk. Once inside the park, you’re free to enjoy the walking tracks, beaches and lookouts without needing a separate walking permit.
