There are so many ways to holiday in Eden. Part of the picturesque Sapphire Coast on the south coast of NSW, it's become a destination for families looking for adventure, tourists looking to explore, and everyone in between.
Planning a trip and not sure how to spend your time? We've put together a 3-day Eden itinerary to get you excited. From where to eat to what to do, we've got the local spots you won't want to miss.
Stick local and start your first day in Eden with breakie and a strong latte at Toast Cafe Eden. From there, you're central enough to either head down to Snug Cove to see today's catch come in, or take a stroll down to Eden Lookout and Rotary Park for panoramic views of Twofold Bay and the Sapphire Coast.
If you're visiting in the warmer months, Aslings Beach is where you'll find most of the action. It joins Beowa National Park (formerly Ben Boyd National Park) and Lake Curalo at the northern end – there's a beautiful 6km boardwalk to take by the lake – with the rock pool at its southern tip. It's the perfect place to picnic, play and press pause on life.
As the day draws to a close, enjoy a pub classic for dinner at Hotel Australasia, or keep it casual with takeaway from Eden Fish & Chips (the best accompaniment to a sunset picnic).

Eden has a long and rich maritime history, evident in the village and its surroundings, from the remains of Old Tom (a beloved local orca) in the Killer Whale Museum, to the self-guided Killer Whale Trail that takes you to five historical sites. Spend time soaking up this interesting history and even catch a glimpse of migrating whales on a whale watching tour with Sapphire Coastal Adventures (best in season from August to November).

The Sapphire Coast is home to other incredible towns along the coastline as well as opportunities to boost your sense of adventure. When it comes to what to do around Eden, NSW, Gravity Eden has mountain bike trails to check out (suitable for beginners right through to serious bikers), or there's the much calmer Pinnacles Loop walking track through local woodland and heath.

If markets are more your speed, you could spend an afternoon at Pambula Rotary Market, held every second Sunday. Or catch the Bermagui Growers and Makers Market on Thursday afternoons from April to November for all your fresh fruit and veg.
One of the best parts of being on holiday is getting the chance to try new food at local restaurants. Eden and the surrounding area have some incredible spots to try, with fresh seafood and classic pub fare the highlights.
